One of the most important things to remember in Social Media is to utilize ALL of your accounts efficiently and in tandem!
Don’t Leave The People High and Dry. Be sure to tag, link, provide the information for your other accounts easily and often. Use your Facebook page to reference what is going on (and where) on Snapchat, Instagram, Google+, the list goes on. You may grab a new client simply because they are more connected on one of these other platforms.
Cross Promoting does NOT mean just Cross Posting! It doesn’t build your clientele or add something innovative to post the same item across all accounts. This may have the opposite effect and come across as lazy! Instead, give them somethin’ to talk about! Tailor your messages or images to the followers and the vibe of each social media platform to have the very best impact.
Use a Pinterest Board and a Springboard. Creating a board on Pinterest can allow you to share what is happening and where it is taking place across all of your social media accounts. By pinning images from all platforms, visitors will be just a few clicks away from all that you have to offer. Images of your accounts or homepages will be linked back to those so that clients have them all, visible, in one easy to find place.
Get More Bang for your Virtual Buck. Use social tabs in Facebook Business Page to link your other accounts and occurrences. This is a way that visitors to the page can easily move to other accounts and their content right from your Facebook page. This is an incredibly easy way to house all information in one simple place!
Promote Till You Drop. If you are having a special event or contest within one platform, be sure to advertise on the others! This is a wonderful way to introduce clients to the other account (and possibly other social media platform) by getting them interested in what’s going on over there.
